Conservative Daily, along with millions of concerned Americans, has repeatedly highlighted the profound impact of over 7 million illegal immigrants infiltrating our nation in just over three years. This crisis has resulted in significant issues, institutional decay, and a disturbing rise in corruption.

President Biden's open-border policy is a testament to sheer incompetence and a gross neglect of his duty to secure our borders. This will undoubtedly be remembered as his disastrous legacy – a leader who facilitated an invasion and prioritized the well-being of those entering our country illegally over the safety and security of American citizens.

The inexcusable inaction from Congress is an affront to every citizen who expects their elected representatives to prioritize national security. The careless and compromised coalition of RINOs, Democrats, and other complacent oathbreakers appears more interested in exploiting the crisis than providing real solutions. Recent developments at the border, particularly the removal of razor wire barriers following a Supreme Court ruling, are a blatant attack on our nation and security.

Governor Greg Abbott's efforts to resist the flood of illegal aliens by invoking state rights are commendable, but the ongoing tug-of-war between Border Patrol agents and the efforts of Attorney General Paxton and Governor Abbott is infuriating. Countless protests at Eagle Pass and other parts of the Texas border underscore the genuine and serious concern for a secure border.

The recent introduction of a national security bill by Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer is an absolute travesty. Intertwining it with foreign aid and unrelated agendas, such as a 35-year national ban on fully plastic ghost guns, is an outrageous violation of our national security. Our safety should never be used as a political pawn, and it is infuriating to witness such blatant manipulation during these critical times.

The continuous rejection of the "Secure the Border Act" (H.R.2) by the Senate, a bill aimed at addressing border security without political maneuvering, is nothing short of an insult. It calls into question the commitment of some members, including Democrats like Senator Schumer, to prioritize the safety of American citizens without seeking unrelated concessions.

Furthermore, the recent passage of the Smith-Wyden Bill, contributing to welfare expansion (including for illegal immigrants) and inflationary deficits, is a reprehensible pattern that must be stopped immediately. Our national security should be the utmost priority, free from political posturing and unrelated agendas.

I demand, in the strongest possible terms, that you declare a state of emergency and take immediate action to secure our borders. Congress must unequivocally support Texas and ensure the swift passage of H.R.2. The safety and security of American citizens should be your primary concern, and anything less is a betrayal of the people you represent.

The time for decisive action is now. I expect you to fulfill your duty to the people and restore confidence in the integrity of our borders. Failure to do so will be met with increased frustration and anger from a citizenry fed up with the negligence and incompetence displayed by our elected officials.
