I trust this message finds you, albeit I must admit, my confidence in the efficacy of our representatives is dwindling rapidly. As we approach the three-year mark since the January 6 Protests, I write to you with an increasing sense of anger and frustration regarding the abhorrent treatment endured by those involved, and the conspicuous lack of action from Congress.

The post-January 6 landscape has been marred by an egregious abuse of power. The government, aided by the FBI and other law enforcement agencies, has relentlessly pursued a campaign of harassment, imprisonment, and the systematic erosion of the rights of the January 6 protestors. While Speaker Johnson has seen fit to release most of the security footage from that fateful day, the blatant refusal to make the full 40,000 hours public reeks of a cover-up that we, the American people, will not tolerate.

I recently stumbled upon a statement from political prisoner Jake Lang on Twitter. He highlighted Speaker Johnson's half-hearted acknowledgment on Fox News that some individuals may have been denied due process, and vague assurances that efforts are underway to rectify this. Meanwhile, individuals like Jake Lang languish in solitary confinement, enduring 1050 days of incarceration without a trial. Enough with the hollow promises and interviews on Fox News; we demand concrete action!

Reports from defense attorneys in October revealed a disturbing pattern of potential jurors being recalled or "recycled." This blatant disregard for due process rights and the recurring violations of the rights of these individuals demand immediate redress from Congress. The inaction thus far is nothing short of an affront to the principles upon which this nation was built.

The released footage from January 6 has unequivocally proven that this was a protest, not an insurrection. Yet, Congress remains shockingly inert in addressing the injustices faced by the January 6 political prisoners.

In light of the aforementioned, I implore you to take the following actions with an urgency that matches the severity of the situation:

1. Establish a new January 6 Select Committee dedicated to conducting a genuine fact-finding investigation, free from scripted narratives and political posturing.

2. Swiftly disbar and remove from their positions all federal judges and federal prosecutors who have selectively prosecuted and unjustly punished January 6 patriots.

3. Release the full 40,000 hours of footage from January 6th.

4. The Liberation of the J6 Political Prisoners!

The American people and Congress must act decisively to defend the rights and freedoms that our country holds dear. The J6 protests laid bare the dire cost of freedom, and we expect our elected representatives to honor their oath and stand on the right side of history.
