Further exacerbating these concerns are the revelations of cocaine being discovered in a restricted area of the White House, which is accessible only to close associates of the President. It is disconcerting that approximately 500 staffers present in this area have not undergone drug testing. The decision to close the investigation into this discovery without pressing charges raises doubts about the competence or possible intent of the authorities involved. As taxpayers, we are expected to believe that the Secret Service, responsible for the safety of the President, is unable to identify the individual responsible for the cocaine. This lack of accountability is deeply troubling and raises questions about the transparency and integrity of our government.
