Reports indicate that the WHO allocates approximately $200 million per year on travel, surpassing the funds allocated to combat significant public health challenges such as Hepatitis/AIDS, malaria, tuberculosis, and mental health/substance abuse combined. Such misallocation of resources demonstrates a lack of responsible stewardship and a disregard for prioritizing pressing global health concerns.

Most critically, the WHO's failures during the COVID-19 pandemic cannot be overlooked. The organization's inability to take decisive action to contain the outbreak and its dissemination of inaccurate and harmful advice demonstrate not mere incompetence but also potential malfeasance. The influence exerted by the Chinese Communist Party and the tragic consequences of compromised leadership reveal a deeply troubling relationship that undermines the WHO's credibility and effectiveness.

Moreover, the proposed Pandemic Treaty, which the Biden administration aims to bind the United States to, grants the WHO unprecedented power to influence and dictate America's policies during a pandemic. This treaty, crafted with the theme of "the world together equitably," threatens our national sovereignty and individual liberties. It empowers the WHO to declare and manage global pandemic emergencies, requiring participating nations to comply with directives related to medical treatments, government regulations, supply chains, and even population monitoring and surveillance. Such an agreement undermines our constitutional rights and places undue authority in the hands of an unaccountable global organization.

Experts and healthcare professionals have raised valid concerns about the far-reaching implications of this treaty. Dr. David Bell, a public health physician and former WHO staffer, warns that it would lead to a centralized, vaccine-and-medication-based response, potentially resulting in restricted individual freedoms and control over populations. Professor Francis Boyle of the University of Illinois College of Law emphasizes the dangerous prospect of establishing a worldwide medical police state under the WHO's control, eroding the autonomy of primary care physicians and infringing upon patients' rights to receive appropriate treatments.
