The brutal gang beating of Tyre Nichols by Memphis police was murder. It's horrible, and the thugs involved should get the most severe penalty. Hopefully we agree on that.
Now, given the division in our nation, why did the government -- State, Local, and Federal -- decide to release an extremely violent video of a brutal murder on a Friday night? Why did the corporate media build up the video as a reason to riot? Why did Jill and Joe tell people to protest?
What are you trying to accomplish?
It is not lost on the American People that only one type of grievance, only one group of people is allowed to be protested. Allowed is one thing, though. You and your public private partners are encouraging it. Why?
Is it just complete and total incompetence? Or is there something more nefarious going on?
The American people require serious leaders to navigate this time in our country. You are prioritizing political power during a time of American Crisis.
Understand: We are in a Great American Crisis.
You put your hand on a Bible and swore an oath to protect our natural rights. You now appear to be collaborating with activists, media, and corporations in attempt to violate them.
Whether you're politicizing mass shootings to disarm us, covid to isolate us, foreign wars to bankrupt us, or a brutal police murder to increase the police state, you are knowingly and willinging infringing upon our rights.
You are violating your oath.
