NOW PLAYING: Democrats’ Overt Immigration Hypocrisy
NOW PLAYING: Democrats’ Overt Immigration Hypocrisy
According to a flier released by The Island of Martha’s Vineyard, the community is a welcoming place.
“We Respect Women. We Value Black Lives. We Stand with Our LGBTQ Community Members. We Stand with Immigrants, with Refugees, with Indigenous Peoples, and with Peoples of All Faiths.” We Stand with Our Community. All are Welcome Here. Hate Has No Business Here.”
The message, in part, is repeated in several languages at the bottom of the flier.
Given the loud and proud virtue signal from one of the whitest, richest, most privileged communities in America, many were surprised when the town declared a “humanitarian crisis” over the relocation of just 50 illegal migrants to the community this week.
According to a statement from the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR), nearly five million illegal migrants have come into the US since resident Biden took office:
“Earlier this month, President Biden took credit for the July inflation rate being "only" 8.5 percent. Now that July border numbers are finally public, the White House may take credit for the fact that "only" 199,976 illegal aliens crossed our border, down from 207,416 in June. A minor drop in border encounters is not encouraging. Traditionally, numbers drop in the hottest summer months, and last month's figures actually represent a 325 percent increase over the average number of July apprehensions under the Trump administration. More significantly, July numbers bring the total of illegal aliens crossing our borders since President Biden took office to 4.9 million, including some 900,000 "gotaways" who eluded apprehension and have since disappeared into American communities.”
Five million migrants overwhelming the resources of border communities.
Democrat and Republican officials in border communities have been begging for a coherent strategy from the administration, with no response except the Biden press secretary assuring confused reporters that they have “been very clear” on their policy -- without going into any details to provide such clarity.
Against nearly two-years of support for steady caravanning to the US Southern Border, the previously virtue signaling elites of Martha’s Vineyard have declared a humanitarian crisis – over just 50 migrants.
Consider that for a moment: Border communities are absorbing nearly five million while the elite’s playground – which has a robust hospitality and tourism sector – is declaring a crisis over 50. Not 50,000 or 50,000,000. 50.
This is the latest example of Democrat politicians and their most rabid supporters overt and obtuse hypocrisy. The reaction on social media was swift and decisive -- these white elites are massive hypocrites:
“Send 100,000 more to Martha’s Vineyard – or do they not really believe in diversity when it comes to their rich, elitist community?” – Catturd
“It wasn’t a humanitarian crisis until it might ruin your brunch… right?” – Tim Young
“Privileged white rich democrats are showing their racism. They want illegals to do their laundry, not live in their communities.” – Dr. Interracial
A more serious take came from Julio Rosas, who posted a picture of the Yuma border area with the message: “The border town of Yuma wishes all they saw was 50 people in one day. They see groups of 50+ every few hours.”
Progressive elites deserve every bit of the mockery. Progressive elites in the Congress deserve to be held accountable.
DEMAND FOR REMEDY: As the PressSec says this administration has been “very clear” on their immigration policy, the recent outcry over 50 migrants going into your playground tells a different story. You must secure the US border, and you must do it now.
Five million new migrants in less than two years. They should all go to Martha’s Vineyard, Washington DC, Napa Valley, Vail and Aspen, the Hamptons, and any other sanctuary community that virtue signals for Americans to absorb the hoards of migrants – while isolating themselves from their effects.

Here is today’s letter to Congress.
ATTENTION CONGRESS:
While we are laughing at the hypocritical response from Martha’s Vineyard to the relocation of just 50 migrants, we want you to know that your hypocrisy on domestic immigration policy is overt and on display.
According to a statement from the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR), nearly five million illegal migrants have come into the US since resident Biden took office. That is five million new workers competing for American jobs. Five million new welfare recipients. Five million mouths to feed.
You’re okay with this because you isolate yourselves away from ever have to meet any of the five million. You’re not absorbing them – you’re expecting us to absorb them.
That’s why the decisions of Governors DeSantis and Abbott were strategically brilliant in relocating some of these migrants to your communities in Martha’s Vineyard and Washington DC, respectively. You need to feel the repercussions of your terrible policy decisions and failures.
As Tim Young said on Twitter yesterday, “It wasn’t a humanitarian crisis until it might ruin your brunch… right?”
Progressive elites deserve every bit of the mockery. Those of you in the Congress deserve to be held accountable.
DEMAND FOR REMEDY: As the PressSec says this administration has been “very clear” on their immigration policy, the recent outcry over 50 migrants going into your playgrounds tells a different story. You must secure the US border, and you must do it now.
Five million new migrants in less than two years.
Secure the border and return your loyalty to the American people and the US Constitution. Otherwise, prepare your shelters. This new red state policy for relocating illegal migrants to sanctuary cities is very popular with the American people.
Change course, or prepare for this to repeat in a community near you: Napa Valley, Vail and Aspen, the Hamptons, Cape Cod, and any other sanctuary community where progressive elites virtue signal for Americans to absorb hoards of migrants – while isolating themselves from their effects.
