At some point there has to be accountability.
Over the holiday weekend, the NY Post released explosive reporting about the Hunter Biden Laptop and the FBI’s efforts to suppress its contents to protect Biden and his administration.
The reporting by Miranda Devine reveals, “Bobulinski spent over five hours secretly being interviewed by the FBI on Oct. 23, 2020, about his inside knowledge of then-presidential candidate Joe Biden’s involvement in his son’s business deals with China.”
Tony Bobulinski first made headlines when he revealed during a press conference that the then Presidential candidate was “the Big Guy” referenced in Hunter’s business communications. This was notable as “the Big Guy” was to receive 10% and Joe Biden has denied any knowledge of or involvement in his son’s overseas business dealings.
Devine’s report continues, “Bobulinski gave the FBI the contents of three cellphones containing encrypted messages between Hunter and his business partners, along with emails and financial documents detailing the Biden family’s corrupt influence-peddling operation in foreign countries during Joe’s vice presidency. But his evidence appears to have fallen into the same black hole at the FBI as Hunter’s laptop, never to be seen again.”
Conservative media latched onto the story Monday, though the remedy sought by Senator Chuck Grassley focused on demanding that FBI Director Chris Wray “depoliticized the Bureau.”
The crimes on the Biden Laptop rise to the level of high crimes and misdemeanors of the worst sort — selling out the American people for profit, using elected office, for which an oath was sworn, to advance personal interests.
If these crimes aren’t impeachable and prosecutable then nothing is. But we know they are impeachable. We watched two Congresses in a row impeach President Trump for much less (really, for nothing but the fact that they didn’t like him).
Now Congress opines that we need to depoliticize the FBI?
No. The American people require and demand accountability for the crimes of this so-called President and his official henchmen at the FBI.
For too long, the establishment government has held itself above the law. We see it in Paul Pelosi’s ridiculous plea deal that should have been a felony due to the serious injury involved in his drunk driving accident. We see it in Hillary Clinton’s multiple scandals for which she never even received a slap on the wrist.
No one in government is ever held accountable for any of the wrongs they commit. By all appearances, they have a different standard of justice than the rest of us.
Did you agree to that? Did you vote for that?
Now, in response to explosive revelations that the Bureau suppressed evidence of Biden family crimes, Republican legislators are demanding that we clean the corruption out of the FBI. As if that were possible for a federal agency that is corrupted to its very core.
We must reject these half measures and lip service from those who have spent their careers in government. For decades, we have watched the size of the state expand while the level of transparency and accountability dwindled.
DEMAND FOR REMEDY: You must impeach this so-called president for his many crimes detailed on the Laptop. You must also investigate the FBI, beginning with the decision-making on suppressing evidence of Biden’s crimes.
Bold action is required if those in government intend to restore Americans’ trust in our institutions.
This is a moment of choosing for all those who have been entrusted with our governance and who swore an oath to be worthy of that trust.
