Democrats Want $10 Billion and Open Borders

The newest round of reckless spending legislation has been delayed until Congress returns from their spring break later this month. The vote has been postponed thanks to Senate Republicans that stopped the legislation from advancing due to the Democrats’ unwillingness to renew the soon to expire Title 42 policy.

Title 42 has been instrumental in minimizing the flow of illegal migration across the southern border. When Title 42 expires at the end of May, authorities expect to see a surge of illegal migration, the likes of which this country has never seen.

Without Title 42, enforcement agencies will be left with no way to return illegal migrants to their home countries. This is exactly what the Democrats want. The Republicans cannot allow the Democrats to fulfill their pro-crime, open borders agenda.

The newest COVID-19 spending bill has stalled thanks to the integrity of Senate Republicans. In a few weeks, the Democrats will try to advance the 10 billion dollar proposal while offering no compromise on Title 42.

Senator Warren claims that Title 42 is an irrelevant Republican talking point. Warren says that the money from the bill is vital to the health of the world, but refuses to acknowledge the immense harm illegal migration does to the health of our country!

As a reminder, a 24-year-old Honduran immigrant was recently charged with murder in the vicious stabbing death of a Florida man. The immigrant had crossed the US border illegally months earlier while posing as an unaccompanied minor. And in Arizona, border agents arrested a child rapist that illegally entered the country. The migrant, Edgard Antonio Gutierrez-Martinez, faces felony convictions for first degree child rape and incest. The migrant has now been turned over to US Marshals this morning to face prosecution.

The surge in violent crime is just one consequence of the border disaster. Drugs are pouring in and destroying our cities at a record rate. Just this week, California authorities seized “enough fentanyl to kill 4.7 million people.” Nearly 821 pounds of methamphetamine, 190 pounds of cocaine and 21 pounds of fentanyl pills were recovered as Edgar Alfonso Lamas, 36, and Carlos Raygozaparedes, 53, left a home in the Buena Park area of Orange County.

Senator Warren’s claims are outright lies! You must stand firm to protect the safety and future of the American people and ensure that Title 42 is renewed indefinitely!
