Joe Biden has presided over more American pain and suffering than any other modern President.

Inflation has wiped out all wage gains since 2016. The cost of living is going through the roof. The economy continues to struggle to create new jobs. Politicians and bureaucrats across this country have also carried out the biggest erosion of liberty this continent has ever seen.

And yet, despite all of this, instead of giving an honest assessment of the state of our union, Joe Biden brushed aside this reality and chose to prioritize the pain and suffering of the Ukrainian people almost 5,000 miles away.

Usually, Congress responds to the State of the Union address by prioritizing the pieces of legislation that were discussed. This time, however, you and your colleagues are choosing to prioritize a massive foreign aid package to help Ukraine.

What is happening to the Ukrainian people right now is heartbreaking. But you were elected to focus on the needs and wants of your constituents here at home. That is your job.

The United States is the most generous nation in the history of the world. We have spent more money and blood around the world to fight poverty and oppression than any other country that has ever existed. But just as an airline stewardess tells passengers to put their oxygen masks on before helping others if the cabin loses pressure, the same is true in Congress.

You need to honor the oath you made to your constituents and focus on helping Americans before you even contemplate another foreign aid package.

Whether the final bill ends up being $6 billion, $32 billion, or anything in between, I am demanding that you block this legislation and get back to work focusing on fixing the real problems causing American families pain.

You were elected to serve your constituents and their interests, not the interests of a foreign government, not the interests of the "international community," and certainly not the special interests currently beating the war drums so they can make a quick buck.

Any Congressman or Senator who votes for this "emergency" foreign aid package will be removed from office.
