Joe Biden abandoned hundreds, if not thousands of Americans in Afghanistan. He also abandoned thousands of Afghan allies who had helped the United States during our 20-year war. Instead, Biden evacuated over 100k unvetted refugees who literally cannot be vetted. To put it into perspective how incompetent Joe Biden's evacuation was, we are now hearing reports that in addition to over 1000 refugees now being screened for potential terrorist ties, there are now Afghans on US soil claiming to have child brides...

There are currently teams of US military veterans and ex-Special Forces on the ground in Afghanistan saving the people that Biden left behind. They have saved hundreds of Americans and Afghan allies. But when they loaded them onto six airliners at Mazar-i-Sharif International Airport, the Taliban refused to allow them to take off. These Americans are literally being held hostage by a terrorist organization armed with anti-air weapons we left behind...

Where is Joe Biden during this hostage crisis? He is on vacation. While Americans were being held hostage at gunpoint, Joe Biden flew to Delaware for yet another vacation. It was his third vacation in Delaware since the beginning of August (his fourth total vacation if you include his trip to Camp David).

Where is Kamala Harris during this hostage crisis? She is heading to California to campaign to try to save Gavin Newsom from a recall. While Americans are being held hostage, her priority is party politics.

Americans on the ground are pleading with the State Department to help them. Not only has the State Department refused, but they are reportedly also blocking the flights from taking off!

Never before could I have imagined that a President would abandon Americans like this. But just when you think it can't get worse, after Biden gifted the Taliban over $83 billion in military hardware and entire pallets of $100 bills, the Biden administration is now discussing giving the Taliban US aid...

The Founders gave you oversight power and the Power of the Purse specifically for situations like this. The President of the United States does not believe saving Americans is a priority. He is actually going to give the Taliban foreign aid.

You must pass H.R. 5071 into law right away! It would (1) require the Biden administration to deliver a plan to bring the trapped Americans home, (2) deliver an accounting of all the equipment left behind, (3) require transparency on any deals or agreements made by the Biden Administration with the Taliban, (4) establish a sense of Congress that that Taliban should not be recognized as the government of Afghanistan, and (5) prohibit any federal funding, aid, or sanctions relief to the Taliban.

All of this is common sense. Unfortunately, the Biden administration is doing exactly the opposite.

You have a chance to save this country from Joe Biden's ineptitude, but you need to take action now. There is no excuse not to pass H.R. 5071 into law, other than party politics.

If you will not push this through immediately, you will be removed from office!
