Joe Biden promised that he would restore the soul of the nation. Yesterday, he delivered the darkest and most divisive speech in American history. Without evidence, Biden declared that it was actually Republicans who were trying to steal the election, lied that the Supreme Court had heard election challenges, and labeled anyone who continues to doubt the legitimacy of his Presidency as an enemy of the Constitution and the Republic.

None of that is an exaggeration. He accused states passing election integrity of deliberately targeting minority voters while simultaneously claiming that election integrity laws affect all voters, regardless of their skin color. He accused conservatives who are fighting against voter fraud of being literally worse than slave owners. Anyone who supports Voter ID or believes that drive-through voting is a bad idea, Joe Biden branded them a domestic enemy of the Constitution itself. Again, none of this is exaggerated.

Biden's "solution" to American conservatism, though, is equally frightening. He used his divisive speech to demand that Congress pass H.R.1/S.1 into law.

Article 1, Section 4 of the Constitution grants state legislatures the authority to determine how their elections are conducted. Never before has Congress sought to significantly overrule all 50 state legislatures, all at once.

Never before has a party with a 9-vote majority in the House and a 1-vote majority in the Senate ever tried to radically change election laws in all 50 states. It is unthinkable that we are even having this conversation. Unfortunately, your colleagues believe that the only way to preserve their power is to change how all 50 states conduct their elections.

The so-called "For The People Act" is not non-partisan. It is deliberately designed to help one political party win more elections.

It would prohibit states from requiring Voter ID from absentee voters. This is insane. People would be able to bypass Voter ID requirements simply by asking to vote by mail. The legislation would require that states conduct a 100% vote-by-mail election whenever there is a natural disaster or infectious disease around election day. Considering that election day falls inside hurricane and influenza seasons, this might as well just be a total mandate.

It would force states to accept same day voter registrations, a practice that has been linked to fraud, while also making it illegal for states to remove inactive, illegitimate, or dead voters from the rolls. And as if it couldn't get crazier, the bill allows states to receive and count ballots up to 10 days after the election is over. This is literally a recipe for fraud.

Now, your colleagues want to pass this into law by any means necessary, even if it means changing the rules to pass it through on a party-line vote.

I don't care what it takes, you MUST block this legislation from passing.

No amount of changes can make this legislation palatable.

The American People deserve elections they can trust, not a system that would guarantee fraud.

Mark my words: Any Congressman or Senator, Republican or Democrat, who votes for this will pay the price. I implore you to do the right thing and KILL this bill, once and for all!
