I do not condone the protesters who rushed the United States Capitol. It was out of line and should not have happened.

But I also do not condone the response that you and your colleagues exhibited once the Joint Session of Congress resumed.

You used the events of yesterday afternoon to scuttle legitimate objections to the Electoral College results from Nevada, Arizona, Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Georgia.

The allegations of voter fraud are credible. The irregularities and anomalies seen in the data have yet to be explained away. All we asked of you yesterday was to hear our concerns and ensure that all of the evidence be presented before certifying Biden as the winner.

But that didn't happen. Protesters rushed the Capitol and when the session resumed, the objections were quashed. Mitch McConnell refused to allow election skeptics to speak on the Senate side, instead choosing to recognize speakers who would condemn the objections. Instead of using the hour to ensure that the evidence was entered into the record, McConnell ended the debate early by reserving the balance of his time.

Then, we learned that the GOP Senators who had promised to object to the results and demand a full audit had suddenly changed their minds. Senators withdrew their names from the objections against Nevada, Michigan, Georgia, and Wisconsin. Only Pennsylvania and Arizona had heard objections.

The fact that some idiots charged into the Capitol doesn't change the fact that the evidence of fraud is real and deserves to be investigated. And yet, you and your colleagues jumped at the opportunity to use the protest as an excuse not to investigate any of it...

It was the most shameful surrender in the history of the United States Congress.

Instead of hearing the concerns of half of America and investigating it, your colleagues have chosen to belittle Conservatives and brand them as conspiracy theorists. It is disgusting and wrong.

I need you to understand that We the People will remember your betrayal. If you think you can outlast this and that by the time your name appears on the ballot again, your betrayal will be forgotten, you are sorely mistaken...
