Disgusting: Dems Using Trump's Covid to Delay Supreme Court Hearing!

We learned last night that Donald Trump has contracted the Coronavirus. Doctors are optimistic that he will be fine, but it has also led to other GOPers in the House and Senate getting tested as well.

Mike Lee just announced that he has tested positive too. The bad news is that Senator Lee sits on the Judiciary Committee. Based on CDC guidance, he will have to quarantine beyond the scheduled date for Amy Coney Barrett's confirmation hearing.

Democrats see this as their opening to derail the confirmation process. They know they only need to force a delay of a few days to block Barrett from being added to the bench in time to hear election cases.

Dianne Feinstein and other Democrats are now formally demanding that the October 12 confirmation hearing be postponed.

In addition to President Donald Trump testing positive for the coronavirus, Senator Mike Lee has also reported that he tested positive as well.

Disgustingly, your colleagues are using these diagnoses as proof that Amy Coney Barrett's confirmation process must be delayed.

Earlier this year, every Democrat supported the House's plan to allow for remote committee votes. However, not that a Republican Judiciary Committee Member has tested positive (and is required to quarantine beyond the scheduled confirmation hearing date), those same Democrats are demanding in-person voting. It is nakedly political.

The radical Left understands that they only need to delay the confirmation a few days in order to block Amy Coney Barrett from being seated on the bench in time to hear election cases.

Dianne Feinstein has now formally demanded that the hearing be delayed. Not only has she said that the process is being rushed, but Democrats are also claiming that it isn't safe to hold the hearings.

They will do or say anything to keep the seat open. They have become so crazed that some are actually discussing the possibility of Mike Pence and Donald Trump both becoming incapacitated and Nancy Pelosi taking over as acting-President, where she could then withdraw Judge Barrett's nomination. That is how rabid many of your colleagues have become. They are actively gameplanning a scenario where the President and Vice President either die or become incapacitated, so Pelosi could shut down the confirmation process all together.

Leftists know they don't have the votes to kill Barrett's confirmation. Instead, they are trying to delay the process as long as possible to stop Barrett from being seated on the Supreme Court before the election.

It is disgusting how Democrats on social media have been celebrating Donald Trump's covid diagnosis. But it is equally disgusting that your colleagues learned of the news and immediately hatched a scheme to use it to delay the confirmation.

You must forge forward on-schedule. I don't care what it takes, you cannot allow the Left to delay the confirmation even a day.
