But now Democrats want to undo all of that. They are forcing a vote THIS WEEK on legislation that would pull Operation LeGend's funding and force all of these Federal officers to withdraw from Portland, Kansas City, Albuquerque, and Chicago.

They are threatening a government shutdown unless the GOP caves and agrees to their demands. Of course, the GOPers are already folding...

For the past month, Federal agents have been in Kansas City and Portland conducting Operation LeGend. Named after a four-year-old boy who was shot and killed in his bedroom by a stray bullet, Operation LeGend is a surge of Federal law enforcement officers into American cities to arrest violent criminals plaguing these communities.

In just the last month, hundreds of these criminals have been arrested and charged with Federal crimes. The plan is working.

So why are your colleagues so determined to cut its funding?

Democrats in the House and Senate are advancing amendments to the upcoming DHS and DOJ appropriations bills that would use the Power of the Purse to cut off all funding to Operation Legend. They would rather preserve the status quo than allow Trump to have a "victory" in the fight against violent crime.

In Portland, rioters have been trying to burn down the Federal Courthouse every night for almost a month. Federal agents are on the ground to protect the building and the employees working inside. The officers have been beaten, attacked with fireworks and molotov cocktails, and even blinded by laser pointers.

In Kansas City, Albuquerque, and Chicago, ATF agents are going down the list of known criminals and arresting them on federal drug and firearms charges to get them off the streets.

How could anyone possibly want to shut this program down? How could anyone possibly hate the President so much that they would fight to protect the status quo? That they would fight to protect the rioters, looters, and violent criminals?
