Yesterday, UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres delivered a speech in which he demanded a new world order.

"The COVID-19 pandemic has brought home the tragic disconnect between self-interest and the common interest; and the huge gaps in governance structures and ethical frameworks," Guterres proclaimed. "To close these gaps, and to make the New Social Contract possible, we need a New Global Deal to ensure that power, wealth, and opportunities are shared more broadly and fairly at the international level."

The UN Secretary General is demanding a "new model for global governance," even if it has to be imposed on unwilling countries. The UN's goal is not only to erode our sovereignty, but to redistribute our wealth and lessen our power on the world stage.

Back in April, the UN announced that they needed countries to start contributing 10% of their GDP to make this "New Global Deal" a reality. In the case of the United States, that would bring our yearly "donation" to the United Nations up to just shy of $2 Trillion. Amazingly, the UN is demanding we pay up. They plan to use American tax dollars to launch their anti-American scheme.

You need to put a stop to this right now.

There are plenty of international programs that are worthy of receiving American tax dollars. But the United Nations' General Fund is not one of them. You need to pull the plug on this anti-American institution.

Luckily, the timing couldn't be better. In the next week, you will begin debate and consideration of next year's State, Foreign Operations, and Related Programs Appropriations Act. This is the legislation that will determine how much money is sent to the United Nations in 2021.

That number should be ZERO.

You need to get behind Mike Rogers' American Sovereignty Restoration Act. This bill would pull the plug on the UN's funding, force UN soldiers out of our country, make it illegal for UN officials to ever give commands to the American military, and suspend the diplomatic immunity that UN officials currently enjoy on United States soil. In other words, it would kick the UN to the curb. This a bill whose time has come...

And yet, many of your colleagues actually believe that the solution is to increase funding to the UN. They actually want to help kick start the UN's latest wealth and power redistribution scheme.

You need to stop them. Do not let them increase the United Nations' funding, not even by a cent. Instead, you must do everything in your power to see that the American Sovereignty Restoration Act is attached as an amendment to the State Department spending bill.

It is time to put America first.

If you won't do that, then I will have no choice but to remove you from office. That is not a threat, it is a promise...
