A month ago, your colleagues were demanding that Congress pass the so-called Heroes Act, a coronavirus relief bill that included a couple sections dedicated to rewarding police officers with a bonus for their work during the coronavirus pandemic.  Pelosi believed that the best chance she had to get her bailout bill passed into law was to name it after first responder heroes.

What a difference a month makes... Instead of giving police departments additional funding, your colleagues are now demanding that the police be defunded. Instead of praising officers as heroes, they have now been rebranded as villains.

Pelosi didn't want to start from scratch. She knew she needed to find another group of "heroes" to honor in her bailout bill.

Pelosi chose illegal aliens.

"Millions of immigrants, including more than 200,000 [illegal alien] DACA-recipients, are risking their lives to save lives on the frontline of the pandemic," Pelosi claimed. "They deserve and have earned our support as they sacrificed for our country."

First of all, this is a lie. With roughly 690,000 illegal aliens participating in the DACA program, only around 380,000 are working. The rest are either unemployed or in school. There is no way that more than half of all working DACA recipients are "risking their lives to save lives on the frontline of the pandemic." Pelosi is lying through her teeth.

Nevertheless, she believes that the pandemic warrants amnesty for the country's illegal aliens. At a time when a record number of Americans are out of work, it is insane that the Speaker of the House not only wants to legalize illegal aliens, but also to grant them permission to compete with Americans for jobs.

There is nothing common sense about this at all.

You swore an oath to represent your constituents, the American people. It would be unconscionable to even consider an amnesty bill right now.

I am warning you, if you vote for Pelosi's amnesty plan, or do anything to help it pass, I will not rest until you are removed from office!
