Many of your colleagues are now pushing for a $1 Trillion bailout for cities and states. They are claiming Congress has to bail them out because cities and states have run out of money and can no longer care for Americans.

In many Democrat-run cities and states, however, we are discovering that is a lie. While they claim to not have enough money to care for Americans, states like California and cities like Chicago have started doling out stimulus checks and other government assistance to illegal aliens.

It is the ultimate slap in the face. They are claiming to be on the brink of bankruptcy and have already started scaling back government programs designed to help Americans, all while they funnel millions to illegal aliens...

Senator Tom Cotton has introduced legislation to put a stop to this, and I am demanding that you sign on as a co-sponsor and do everything in your power to get the bill signed into law.

It is called the No Bailouts For Illegal Aliens Act. The legislation is simple: in order for city and state governments to continue to receive government coronavirus relief funding, they would need to certify that they are not sending stimulus checks or other government assistance payments to illegal aliens. Any state or municipality found to be bailing out illegal aliens would be cut off from federal aid.

It is common sense. You were elected to Congress to serve your constituents, the American people. It would be a violation of your oath to vote to send federal funds to cities and states knowing that it would be used to help illegal aliens instead of Americans.

Now, more than ever, you need to put Americans first. The No Bailouts For Illegal Aliens Act would do just that. It would ensure that federal aid funding is only used to help Americans and legal permanent residents.

I don't care what it takes, you must pass this bill into law. I don't care if you pass it as a standalone bill or tack it onto the next stimulus package as an amendment. You must pass the No Bailouts For Illegal Aliens Act.

As I mentioned, you swore an oath to the American citizens who elected you to office. It has never been more important for you to honor that oath.

But if you allow federal aid to be funneled to illegal aliens instead, you will have violated that oath.

And all oath breakers will be removed from office...
