Democrats are trying to use their massive, $3 trillion spending bill as cover to hide a much more sinister proposal. While everyone was focusing on Nancy Pelosi's Heroes Act, Rep. Bobby (D-IL) introduced a bill he is calling the COVID-19 Testing, Reaching, and Contacting (TRACE) Act. Not kidding, the Democrats assigned the legislation the bill number of 6666 (the sign of the beast).

While there is a lot of false information surrounding this bill, one thing is absolutely true: It would send Federal funds to cities and states to help them come into people's homes to "test and quarantine" them.

We have already seen these new "contact tracing" powers abused in states like California and Oregon. One woman even became the subject of a child endangerment investigation after she re-opened her salon against the government's orders.

If this bill passes, Americans rights will be violated. That is by design. Democrats have used the coronavirus crisis as an excuse to chip away at practically all of our constitutional rights. This bill is no different.

We can stop H.R.6666 from passing, but only if we team up together right now!

With all eyes on Nancy Pelosi's so-called Heroes Act, Rep. Bobby Rush (D-IL) used the massive bill as cover to introduce legislation that he is calling the TRACE Act (H.R.6666).

His bill seems harmless enough. It is just five pages long and sets aside $100 million to help cities and states with Coronavirus testing and contact tracing. However, as is almost always the case, the devil is in the details with H.R.6666.

In addition to funding mobile testing centers, the legislation would also help cities and states with "as necessary, testing individuals and providing individuals with services related to testing and quarantine at their residences."

The bill is literally setting aside $100 million to help local and state governments go into people's homes to test and quarantine them.

Last week, a California health official was forced to walk back a statement he made, claiming he "misspoke" when he said the county's contact tracing program would involve removing Coronavirus carriers from their homes. Except, after he said he wouldn't remove people from their homes, he admitted that that would still be "an option."

In Oregon, a salon owner re-opened her salon in defiance of the governor's orders and found herself the subject of a child endangerment investigation. A Child Protective Services worker actually searched her home.

Cities, counties, and states are already violating residents' rights with their "contact tracing" programs. Giving them $100 million in unrestricted funding to use "as necessary" would throw gasoline on the fire and guarantee that more Americans' rights would be violated.

Your colleagues are hoping that they can push this bill through in secret since all eyes are on the phase four stimulus bill.

I am writing to make sure you understand that will not work. You will not be able to get away with voting for this legislation.

During this coronavirus outbreak, we have watched in horror as state and local politicians and unelected bureaucrats have abused their emergency powers to impose tyranny on their residents. You should be working to protect Americans' rights, not giving these tyrants $100 million in additional unrestricted funding to help them force their way into people's homes!

There will be a reckoning. Each and every tyrant who abused their emergency powers will be held accountable for their actions.

I need you to understand that if you vote for H.R.6666 -- if you vote to fund this tyranny -- you will be removed from office.
