Yesterday was a shameful day in the United States Congress. By a 9-vote margin, Nancy Pelosi's so-called "Heroes Act" passed in the House of Representatives. Pay no attention to the name: this bill was packed to the brim with pork and Leftist pet projects.

Mitch McConnell has said that the legislation -- H.R.3800 -- will not be added to the Senate Calendar. While that is good news, the fight was never over the bill itself. The fight is over what amendments get added to the final bill that will ultimately pass.

Pelosi and the Left have given the GOP their list of non-negotiable demands. And at the top of that list is a bailout and amnesty package for millions of illegal aliens living in the United States.

The Democrats' plan has three parts: give illegal aliens (1) more pay and benefits, (2) permission to work in the United States, and (3) protection from deportation.

The first part of their plan would give illegal aliens emergency "hazard" pay and make them eligible for government assistance, including access to government-subsidized health insurance and CAREs Act stimulus checks. There are still Americans waiting to receive their stimulus checks, and the Left is already trying to drain the program by giving it all away to illegal aliens...

The second part is also despicable. Right now, it is against the law for an illegal alien to work in the United States. It is also a crime for businesses to knowingly hire an illegal alien. But Pelosi's bill lifts that restriction. Not only does it prohibit companies from "discriminating" against illegals, it would also block the Trump administration from enforcing the law against illegal alien workers and the companies that hire them. At a time when upwards of 40 million Americans are now out of work, Nancy Pelosi's "plan" would allow illegal aliens to compete with Americans for blue and white collar jobs...

But the third part of the Left's plan is the worst. It would automatically shield illegal aliens working in "critical" industries from ever being deported. If an illegal alien works in agriculture, construction, food processing, transportation, logistics, sanitation, laundry services, or food services, they would be automatically given amnesty. That's pretty much every illegal alien in the country right now...

Democrats are now demanding that the final version of the phase four stimulus bill must include these three provisions. They want to reward illegal aliens and protect them from deportation.

That is why Pelosi called this bill the "Heroes Act." She sees illegal aliens the true heroes of the coronavirus response...

I don't care what it takes, you cannot allow any of this to become law. There is no "compromising" on these demands; no 'meeting the Left halfway.'

You need to put American workers and businesses first. You and I both know that the so-called Heroes Act does NOT do that.

You will not be able to sneak these illegal alien bailout and amnesty provisions through. There is nothing you can trade to the other side that would make these provisions palatable.

Any Congressman or Senator who votes to bailout, reward, or protect illegal aliens will be removed from office. That is not a threat, it is a promise.
