Mitch McConnell just announced that the Senate will only vote on germane amendments to be added to the phase four stimulus bill. If the Left tries to add an amendment that has nothing to do with COVID-19, it will be blocked.

Amazingly, Nancy Pelosi has remained relatively quiet over this. She is going to continue pushing for funding for her leftist agenda items, like vote-by-mail and stimulus funding for illegal aliens. But she has already moved over to her Plan B.

Pelosi's office is now advancing the Left's plan to vote on between $500 billion and $1 trillion in "unrestricted" city and state bailout funds. Unrestricted funding, as the name suggests, has no strings attached. Once the funds hit a city or state's bank account, they can do whatever they want with them.

This is by design. If Pelosi cannot force through her party's radical agenda items at the Federal level, she wants to give cities and states a blank check to implement them locally.

California is now being sued over Governor Newsom's plan to spend $125 million to send stimulus checks for illegal alien households. Unrestricted funding would not only help California fund this radical program, but it could also be used to defend against the lawsuits.

In New York, the state has already set aside millions to fight a lawsuit filed by the NRA challenging the constitutionality of Governor Cuomo's order forcing gun stores to all close. New York is also continuing to pay the legal fees for illegal aliens challenging deportation orders. If you give NY unrestricted bailout funding, these are the kinds of programs it will be used to fund...

The Governor of Oregon was also just caught playing games with her state's CARES Act funding as well. You voted to give Oregon $1.6 billion in aid funding and Gov. Brown just announced that she is only going to use it to help residents living in Portland and two surrounding counties. The state's 34 other counties will get nothing.

If you vote to give cities and states unrestricted, no-strings-attached bailout funding, it will be abused. Surely you understand that it would be political suicide for you and your colleagues to vote to give a bailout to illegal alien families when so many Americans still have not received their stimulus checks... If you dared vote for any of these Leftist proposals as standalone legislation, you would find yourself removed from office.

There is no difference between funding these radical programs at the federal level and helping cities and states implement them locally.

If you vote for this unrestricted city/state bailout, knowing what these Leftist-run cities and states plan to use it for, your political career is over.

That is not a threat, it is a promise...
