Joe Biden has now publicly called on the National Archives to release the sexual harassment complaint that former-staffer Tara Reade filed against him in 1993.

Reade's accusation against Biden has been largely seen as credible because she told multiple people at the time about what he allegedly did to her and they back up her account.

The National Archives, however, responded by pointing out that they are forbidden from releasing the complaint by an Act of Congress. All sexual harassment complaints against Members of Congress are required to remain sealed for 50 years after they are filed.

Joe Biden has agreed to have the complaint released, as has Tara Reade. However, many of your colleagues want to keep these forms hidden.

For one, many of them want to protect Joe Biden by any means necessary. They have gone from shouting that we need to "Believe All Women" to saying that an exception should be made for Biden...

But others want to keep these complaints under seal because they are trying to hide the skeletons in their closets. They fear that if they vote to reveal Biden's complaints, they could be next...

Let me be absolutely clear: Any Congressman or Senator who puts partisanship or self-interest first will be held accountable.

The American people deserve the truth. If Joe Biden attacked this girl, then the American people deserve to know. Likewise, it he is being falsely accused, then he deserves the right to be vindicated.
