Every time that President Trump has been investigated over the past four years, the only actual crimes that have been uncovered were all committed by Democrats.

The impeachment "inquiry" was no different. Despite some of your colleagues' best efforts to smear the President, the impeachment investigation proved that the actions undertaken by both Joe and Hunter Biden overseas were at best, unethical and at worst, criminal.

Joe Biden was tasked with conducting US foreign policy around the globe. One of the core tenets of his overseas speeches was that in order for countries to continue receiving US assistance, they would need to do a better job cracking down on corruption.

But something amazing happened. No sooner had Joe Biden finished ordering our allies to start prosecuting more corruption cases, the very suspects of those investigations all seemed to turn to Hunter Biden for protection.

Hunter Biden was kicked out of the military for a substance abuse issue. And yet, he made millions of dollars overseas working for the very people and companies that Vice President Joe Biden had wanted investigated.

After Joe Biden delivered a high profile anti-corruption speech in Romania, Romanian real estate tycoon Gabriel "Puiu" Popoviciu hired Hunter Biden to help him beat corruption charges related to a real estate deal. Hunter Biden didn't speak Romanian. He wasn't particularly well versed in Romanian real estate law. And yet, he was paid handsomely for his "services."

In Ukraine, Joe Biden again insisted that the Ukrainian Government do a better job of rooting out corruption. Shortly thereafter, Hunter Biden was hired onto the board of Ukrainian energy firm, Burisma, which had long been the subject of corruption probes. When Ukraine's prosecutor began looking into Burisma, however, the company and its lobbyists began complaining to the State Department and literally including Hunter Biden's board position in their petitions. It was then that Joe Biden intervened and weaponized US Foreign Assistance to interfere in Ukrainian affairs and force them to fire that prosecutor. Not only that, but Biden bragged about it on camera.

But the list goes on. Hunter Biden caught a ride to China with his father on Air Force Two. While there, Hunter met with at least one businessman. Shortly after the trip was over, Hunter had secured over a billion dollars in investment for a fund he was involved with.

I don't know whether Joe and Hunter Biden broke the law. It is entirely possible that kept these schemes technically legal. But either way, Congress needs to investigate this. If the former Vice President was involved in these schemes abroad, then he absolutely needs to be referred to prosecution. But if what they did was technically legal, you and your colleagues need to change those loopholes because these schemes were extremely unethical.

But the point is that you need to get to the bottom of this, if only to make sure that no one else is ever able to get away with this kind of overseas scheme again.

Subpoenas have been drafted in both the House and the Senate to compel their testimony. You need to sign onto them and help them pass.

It really is simple: you are either fighting this kind of corruption, or you are complicit in it.

If you try to kill these subpoenas or sabotage these investigations, I will have no choice but to vote you out!
