The liberal 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals just delivered Pres. Trump a massive victory. The court unanimously ruled that President Trump can legally cut off Federal funding to so-called sanctuary cities and states.

The Court ruled that Trump can defund these sanctuary cities because Congress has already given him the power to do so.

Pelosi and Schumer are furious. They are now scheming with so-called "Moderate" Republicans to revoke Pres. Trump's discretionary immigration powers. Not only would this return all funding to the sanctuary cities harboring illegal alien criminals, but it would also roll back practically everything else that the President has accomplished on immigration.

The 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals just unanimously ruled that President Trump is in full compliance with Federal statutes and can move forward with defunding sanctuary cities.

The premise is simple. Past Congresses gave the Executive Branch the authority to make Federal law enforcement grants conditional. What Trump is saying to sanctuary cities is if they want to receive Federal law enforcement grants, then they need to fully cooperate with Federal law enforcement officials. The fact that it took this long to get a ruling on such a cut-and-dry issue is astonishing.

President Trump wouldn't have needed to take this action if YOU had actually done your job. For years, your constituents have pleaded with you to secure the border, crack down on asylum fraud, and stop sanctuary cities from harboring these fugitives. You could have taken action on your own and fixed the immigration system a long time ago.

But because of your inaction, President Trump was forced to go it alone, using the powers that Congress has given him.

This should be serving as a wake up call for you. But right now, your colleagues are scheming to block Trump yet again. The plan from your radical colleagues is to revoke all of the President's discretionary immigration powers. Not only would this roll back Trump's crackdown on sanctuary cities, but it would also re-open welfare programs to illegal aliens and shut down border wall construction.

Instead of learning from their mistake, your colleagues want to double down. It isn't bad enough that they refuse to take any action on immigration. Now, they want to block Trump from doing anything too...
