Nancy Pelosi and her allies want to advance their radical gun control package this week. After a year of negotiations, they believe they have a package of bills that will destroy the Second Amendment once and for all!

The first bill is H.R. 8. This legislation would give the government the power to force Americans to ask for permission whenever they want to buy, sell, or transfer a firearm. Even private sales and transfers. This is the heart of their gun control plan. With this law in place, the government would finally have the power to create a registry of American gun owners.

The next bill is NICS Data Integrity Act. Right now, when the government performs a background check, they are required to destroy the record within a set amount of time. This bill would lift that requirement and allow the government to hold onto records of both partial and completed background checks.

They are also ramming through H.R. 1112, the Enhanced Background Checks Act. This legislation would eliminate the time limit placed on the government to process background checks. Instead of forcing the FBI to process a background check within 72 hours, it would give them 20 business days to approve a gun sale. This would give the Federal government the power to block millions of gun purchases every year, without even needing to give a reason!

And most dangerous is the Extreme Risk Protection Order and Violence Prevention Act. Armed with a registry of gun owners, this bill would allow the government to confiscate Americans' guns without even having to charge them with a crime!

This is what the Left has always wanted: a gun owner registry, the power to disarm innocent gun owners, and the ability to block new gun purchases from going through. And Nancy Pelosi is putting it all together in one package...

I don't care what it takes, you must kill this gun control plan.

Americans have a right to keep and bear arms. Period. But if you pass even one of these proposals into law, that right would be turned into a privilege that can be revoked at any time...

You are going to start feeling a lot of pressure from Leftist special interest groups demanding that you stab American gun owners in the back and pass this package of gun control bills.

I am writing to you today to make sure you understand that if you do that, you are finished.
