What you and your colleagues have put this country through over the past four months is despicable. This sham impeachment never should have even made it through committee, let alone reached the trial process.

After the most one-sided impeachment process in American history, and the first time Congress has ever approved non-criminal articles of impeachment, your colleagues are now on the verge of extending the impeachment process once again.

Instead of honoring your oath to their constituents and actually working to fix the problems facing the country, they want to waste months prosecuting these bogus impeachment charges. It truly is shameful.

This is an attempted coup. With the election now just 9 months away, your colleagues believe that the American people cannot be trusted with deciding whether President Trump stays in office or not. Your colleagues believe it should be up to them to decide...

In the House, Nancy Pelosi and her allies want to launch new investigations against the President. They want to spend the rest of 2020 investigating Donald Trump and approving even more articles of impeachment against him.

In the Senate, Mitch McConnell announced that more than four Republicans now support Chuck Schumer's plan to extend the trial length in order to hear from additional witnesses. Even though the charges presented by the House managers do not allege actual crimes, your colleagues want to hear additional evidence anyway...

Let me be absolutely clear, and I implore you to pay attention to what I am about to say: If you participate in this attempted coup, I promise that you will be removed from office. Not President Trump... You.

Remember that you swore that you would represent your constituents. You swore that you would work across party lines to address the challenges facing our country. But instead of doing your job, you have allowed the radicals to advance this bogus impeachment.

Enough is enough. You and I both know that this is doing untold damage to the country.

If you allow this madness to continue, I will have no choice but to assume you are complicit in it and remove you from office!
