When Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats launched their impeachment investigation against the President without holding a formal vote, this whole impeachment push should have been shut down.

When the Democrat leadership held their impeachment hearings in a secret basement bunker and selectively leaked information designed to hurt the President, all while refusing to transmit exculpatory testimony to the Senate, this should have been shut down.

When Adam Schiff colluded with the so-called Whistleblower before a complaint was ever even filed, coached witnesses not to answer GOP questions, and blocked all of the GOP's requested fact witnesses, this should have been shut down.

When Schiff and Nadler refused to give Trump due process, violated House rules to deny the minority party a day of hearings, and blocked White House lawyers from attending all but one of the hearings, this should have been shut down.

When the House voted to authorize non-criminal articles of impeachment, violating the Senate's sole right to control the trial process and President Trump's right to a fair and speedy trial, this should have been shut down.

And when Nancy Pelosi refused to transmit the articles of impeachment to the Senate (as the Constitution requires) for almost an entire month, violating the President's right to a fair and speedy trial, this should have been shut down.

Well, now you and your colleagues finally have that chance. But instead of tossing the impeachment articles and putting an end to the new impeachment investigations being launched in the House, you are allowing this farce to continue.

This is disgusting. If this was a criminal trial, the charges against Trump would have been thrown out long ago.

If a prosecutor had tried to make up crimes in order to charge a defendant, hidden exculpatory information, leaked to the press to hurt the defendant, and then blocked the trial from moving forward for almost a month, not only would the case have been dismissed, but the prosecutor likely would have been thrown in jail on contempt charges.

So why are you allowing this bogus impeachment to continue? "Obstruction of Congress" is not a crime. There is no relevant statute outlining "Abuse of Power." The charges that the House managers delivered are non-crimes. No amount of documents or witnesses can change that fact.

It is time to shut this down. For the good of the country, you need to put an end to these anti-Trump witch hunts and get back tackling the country's problems.

But if you refuse... If you allow these anti-Trump witch hunts to continue or do anything to help this attempted coup... I promise that you will regret it. I promise that the next time your name appears on the ballot, I will do everything in my power to see that you are removed from office.
