While you and your colleagues are consumed by the impeachment process, President Trump is hard at work keeping the promises that he made to the American people.

This week, the President approved billions in additional funding for border wall construction. The latest order is estimated to allow DHS to build an additional 270 miles of wall, on top of the 450-500 miles already planned for this year.

What President Trump did is both constitutional and legal. The 5th Circuit Court of Appeals recently ruled that the border wall construction can move forward using Pentagon funding.

There is no doubt that open borders pose a threat to our country. This is not supposed to be controversial. Every President since Ronald Reagan has promised to secure the border. Both Republicans and Democrats in Congress have promised to approve wall and fence funding over the years. It was only after Trump started talking about building a wall that the issue became politicized...

It is disgusting that President Trump has been forced to go to these lengths to get the wall built. You should have been standing with the President from day one to get the border wall built. Instead, he has been forced to use his National Emergencies Act powers to reprogram the funding.

More than 100 miles of new wall have already been completed. Border Patrol is already reporting that those sections have seen a dramatic drop in illegal border crossings and drug smuggling. The wall is working.

So why would your colleagues want to pull the plug on the project?

Right now, there are Republicans and Democrats scheming to cancel Trump's national emergency order and shut down the construction projects. They would rather leave the border wall unfinished than risk it being completed. Many of them are so consumed by hatred for the President that they are actually trying to leave the border unsecured...

I am demanding that you stand up to this madness. You must protect the border wall funding, no matter what it takes!

You CANNOT allow your colleagues to pull the funding and shut down the border wall construction.

Let this serve as a warning: Any Congressman or Senator, Republican or Democrat, who dares vote to pull the border wall funding will pay for their betrayal at the ballot box.

That is not a threat, it is a promise!
