The 5th Circuit Court of Appeals has just lifted the injunction against President Trump's border wall national emergency order. Since the Supreme Court has already sided with the President on this issue, the Appeals Panel ruled that a lower court Obama-appointee should not be allowed to single-handedly block 500 miles of border wall sections planned for this year.

President Trump responded by immediately ordering DHS and the Pentagon to begin construction on all 500 miles of planned wall sections, telling them that there is no time to waste.

Unfortunately, many of your colleagues are now trying to rally the President's opponents to shut down the border wall project, once and for all.

Led by Chuck Schumer, they plan to force a vote on a Congressional Review Act resolution to undo Trump's executive order and pull the plug on the funding.

The legislation would clarify that open borders do not threaten the country and would therefore prohibit Trump from using any Pentagon funds to build the wall.

Why would you ever want to do that? Why would you possibly want to stop the President from keeping the country safe?

This week, Border Patrol Agents rescued two illegal aliens who had tried to climb over the new 30-foot border wall section in California, but became trapped at the top. Instead of getting into the United States, they were arrested and deported back to Mexico.

The border wall works. In every section where the new 30-foot bollard design has been implemented, Border Patrol agents have reported sharp declines in illegal border crossings. This has allowed them to refocus their resources on human and drug smugglers instead of having to stop pedestrian crossings.

With the 5th Circuit's ruling, the Trump administration is now advancing its plan to finish 500+ miles of new border wall in the next 11 months.

I don't care what it takes, you must protect this funding. You cannot allow your open border colleagues to shut down the border wall construction project.

You swore an oath to serve and help protect the American people. The border wall does just that.

If you vote to cancel the border wall project, or help this anti-American resolution pass in any way, you will have violated your oath and I promise, you will pay your betrayal.
