In order to qualify for amnesty under the bill, all an illegal alien would have to do is claim they have a family member working in the Agricultural industry. If one family member works on a farm, then everyone in the family would instantly receive protection from deportation.

Of course, the bill has no enforcement mechanism. Since these people are undocumented, there is no way to prove where they are employed or who their family members are. Under the terms of the legislation, illegal aliens who game the system to get amnesty would not be punished for their fraudulent applications. And the bill is so horribly written that it would even grant amnesty to illegal aliens with criminal records.

Yes, you are being asked to vote for a bill that would give amnesty to illegal alien convicted criminals...

Your colleagues had hoped they would be able to slip this bill through without the American people noticing. With all eyes on impeachment and the FISA report, they hoped they would be able to quietly pass the biggest amnesty bill in a generation.
