Who do you serve?

That isn't a trick question. The answer is that you serve the American people. You were elected to Congress to serve as a voice for your constituents and to work on the issues that matter most to them.

But for the last year, Congress has abandoned their legislative responsibilities and opted to instead try to undo the 2016 election and remove Donald Trump from office.

This morning, Nancy Pelosi gave the Judiciary Committee the green light to begin drafting Articles of Impeachment against President Donald Trump. It doesn't matter that the President is innocent and has not committed a crime. Democrats have spent the past three years trying to remove him from office and aren't about to stop now.

But the more sinister plot is happening behind the scenes. Democrats and Republicans are now meeting to discuss the rules for voting on articles of impeachment. In both the House and the Senate, the rules can be decided with just a simple majority vote.

The Establishments of both parties want to use the rules process to conduct the impeachment and removal votes by secret ballot. The Constitution allows for the House and Senate to conduct votes in secret. Your colleagues want to be able to vote to impeach and remove Donald Trump from office without having to go on the record.

Democrats love this idea because it would protect the 40 vulnerable Democrats up for re-election next year in pro-Trump districts. Some Republicans see this as a chance to 'vote their conscience' without having to face the voters.

But no matter how you look at it, this would be a gross abuse of power. Not only do your colleagues want to undo the 2016 election, but they now want to deny the American people the ability to even know how their Representative and Senators vote...

You know that the American people do not support this impeachment sham. Every poll now shows it.

But instead of honoring the will of the voters, the solution being floated by your colleagues is to cast the impeachment and removal ballots in secret so neither party has to face the consequences of their actions...

I want to be absolutely clear: if you participate in this coup, either in secret or openly, you will pay the price. I will make sure that when all is said and done, the one who will be removed from office is YOU.

The 116th Congress has been the least productive Congress in American history. You have passed fewer bills than any other Congress in the modern era.

And now, your colleagues want to remove the President from office for a non-crime, and they want to do it in secret.

Mark my words: Any Congressman or Senator, Republican or Democrat, who participates in this coup will be removed from office.
