Undeniable Proof Nancy Pelosi is a Traitor

President Donald Trump withdrew the United States from the United Nations' Paris Climate Treaty. Since Barack Obama never sought the advice and consent of the Congress, Trump was well within his rights to withdraw from it on his own.

Trump's order was very clear. No Federal officials were allowed to coordinate with the United Nations on treaty implementation and absolutely no Treasury dollars were to be spent on the treaty, or sent to the UN.

This week, the UN held the COP25 Conference in Madrid, Spain. The sole purpose of the conference was to devise a plan for financing and implementing the treaty. At Trump and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo's direction, no United States representatives were authorized to attend.

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi decided to defy Trump's order and lead a Congressional delegation to attend the conference anyway. The Logan Act prohibits any unsanctioned individuals from conducting foreign policy on behalf of the United States. Pelosi's actions in defiance of the President could very well constitute a violation of law.

But is it is what Nancy Pelosi said during the conference that is truly seditious. Nancy Pelosi told the entire world to ignore President Trump's withdrawal notice and to instead work with Congressional Democrats to impose the treaty's terms onto the American people.

"By coming here we want to say to everyone, we're still in," Pelosi announced at a UN press conference. "The United States is still in."

This is disgusting. For three years, we have all suspected that a number of your colleagues have sought to undermine the Trump administration's foreign policy. But this is the first evidence of open sedition. Not only did Nancy Pelosi likely violate the law by "formally" representing the United States at a UN conference, but she openly colluded with foreign governments to devise a plan to get around Trump's policy declaration and keep Barack Obama's treaty signature alive.

If any other Member of Congress did this, they would already have been removed from their office. If any other Member of Congress violated the Logan Act to subvert US foreign policy, and openly colluded with foreign countries to bypass the State Department, they would have already been stripped of their power. But because it is Nancy Pelosi, we are all expected to just turn a blind eye to this sedition.

And once Pelosi returns, she plans to act on it. The House will vote on a bill designed to block Trump from withdrawing from the treaty. H.R. 2839, as written, would not only make it illegal for Trump to finalize the withdrawal from the UN Climate Treaty, but it would also restore the billions in funding that Barack Obama promised them.

Enough is enough. You must put a stop to this open sedition right now.

Nancy Pelosi must be removed as Speaker of the House and fully investigated for her actions this week. And you cannot under any circumstances allow the UN Climate Treaty provisions in H.R. 2839 to survive into the final appropriations package.
