Impeachment is blowing up in the Democrats's faces. Two new polls show a massive flip in public opinion. Donald Trump is now either winning or tied against all of the Democrat Presidential candidates. The reason is that the American people are turning against the impeachment "inquiry."

Many of your colleagues are now begging Pelosi to get out ahead of this and start passing real legislation to prove to the American people that Congress isn't just trying to remove the President.

Yesterday, during her press conference, Nancy Pelosi announced that she was leading a new push to get her radical gun control package signed into law. After weeks of negotiations with so-called "moderate" Republicans, Pelosi has identified three bills that she says will have majority support in both the House and Senate.

These bills are literally designed to revoke the right to keep and bear arms found in the 2nd Amendment.

The first bill is H.R. 8, the Bipartisan Background Checks Act. This legislation would require Americans to notify the Federal government anytime a firearm changes hands. It doesn't matter whether it is bought through a dealer, sold privately, or just transferred between friends, the government would have a record of it. There is only one reason for the government to have a database of American gun owners, and that is to confiscate their firearms... World history teaches us that whenever a country has created such a registry, that database was eventually used to carry out mass confiscations...

The next bill in the package is the Extreme Risk Protection Order and Violence Prevention Act (S.7). This legislation would give the government the power to disarm innocent Americans. Instead of having to prove that someone committed a crime, this bill would allow prosecutors to revoke someone's 2nd Amendment rights simply by convincing a judge that there is a 50-50 chance that they are dangerous. And they wouldn't even need to charge the gun owner with a crime to do it!

The last part is perhaps the most sinister. The Enhanced Background Checks Act (H.R.1112) would give the FBI the power to run out the clock on gun purchases. Instead of having 72 hours to process a gun background check, the bill would give the NICS system 10 business days to determine whether someone can or cannot own a gun. If someone wants to appeal a rejection, then the FBI would get another 10 business days to process the appeal. That is a whole month. Since background checks are only good for 30 calendar days, this would allow the government to run out the clock on millions of gun purchases every year and block people from purchasing firearms.

This is what the Left has always wanted: a gun owner registry, the power to disarm innocent gun owners, and the ability to block new gun purchases from going through. And Nancy Pelosi is putting it all together in one package...

I don't care what it takes, you must kill this gun control plan.

Americans have a right to keep and bear arms. Period. But if you pass even one of these proposals into law, that right would be turned into a privilege that can be revoked at any time...

You are going to start feeling a lot of pressure from Leftist special interest groups demanding that you stab American gun owners in the back and pass this package of gun control bills.
