The impeachment bill being voted on today in the House of Representatives is the most disgusting piece of legislation I have ever seen.

Not only would it expand the number of committees investigating the President to five, but it would give Adam Schiff the power to continue holding secret hearings, block Republicans' witnesses, and even withhold exculpatory information.

This is nothing but a partisan attempt to overturn the 2016 election.

The way this impeachment process has been handled is absolutely disgusting. Instead of legitimizing the probe, Democrats are now forcing a vote on a bill to expand the status quo.

The bill being put to a vote would authorize four committees -- Judiciary, Foreign Relations, Government Oversight, and Intelligence -- to conduct the impeachment investigation. They would be allowed to continue to hold secret impeachment hearings and block evidence that proves the President did nothing wrong.

The minute that the Ukraine transcript was released, you knew that this all was a non-issue. Trump told the Ukrainian President that people have told him that Joe Biden may have broken the law in Ukraine, and that he wanted the Ukrainians to cooperate with DOJ investigators because what Biden did "sounds horrible."

We now know that the so-called "whistleblower" is a CIA employee who worked with the Obama White House to start the Trump-Russia witch hunt. This man is now being criminally investigated by John Durham for his role in those efforts.

Trump didn't commit a crime. That is why the impeachment inquiry has become a fishing expedition in search of its own justification.

It is time to put an end to this colossal waste of time.

I am demanding that you vote to put an end to this latest witch hunt. You need to start working on behalf of the American people, not on behalf of Nancy Pelosi and the radical Democrats now trying to remove Trump from office.

Let me make this abundantly clear: if you vote to go along with this plan to undo the 2016 election and remove the President, I will not rest until you are removed from office.
