Yesterday, a radical Clinton judge defied the Supreme Court and vowed to shutdown all border wall construction. Even though the Supreme Court ruled that border wall construction can continue, Judge David Briones ruled that Trump's national emergency declaration is illegal. He is planning to literally defy the Supreme Court and issue a nationwide injunction anyway.

President Trump will likely win when the case reaches the Supreme Court, but now there is a push in Congress to pull the plug on the border wall project once and for all.

Next week, you and your colleagues will begin voting on the 12 spending bills necessary to keep the government funded through the next fiscal year.

When a budget compromise was reached earlier this year, both Republicans and Democrats agreed not to include any poison pill amendments into the bills.

Well, the Left isn't honoring that deal. In both the Homeland Security and Defense Department appropriations bills, the Left has slipped in anti-border wall amendments.

Section 227 of the Department of Homeland Security Appropriations Act would outlaw all border wall construction, upgrades, renovations, and repairs during Fiscal Year 2020. Section 2801 of the National Defense Authorization Act would cancel the President's national emergency executive order and outlaw any Pentagon funds from being spent on border security.

Even the Health and Human Services appropriations bill includes provisions designed to prevent Trump from using migrant detention funds to secure the border.

Why are you so eager to keep the border wide open? So far, the Trump administration has completed 71 miles of new border wall. In those areas, illegal border crossings plummeted. Crime has dropped, fewer drugs are crossing into the country, and human trafficking corridors have been shut down.

The border wall is working. Why would you possibly want to shut down this construction?

This shouldn't be controversial. Keeping the American people safe and shutting down the cartels' smuggling corridors shouldn't be a political issue.

But the fact of the matter is that many of your colleagues hate the President more than they love this country. They don't care about the Americans who suffer at the hands of illegal alien criminals. They only care about denying Trump the ability to fulfill his border wall promise. It is absolutely shameful.

I am demanding that you do everything in your power to protect the President's border wall order. You must protect the funding and KILL these anti-wall poison pill amendments before they make it into the final bill.

This is it. What happens over the next week or so will determine the future of American border security.

If you won't fight to secure the border, you have no business serving in any capacity...
