The Trump administration is now building more than a mile of new border wall every day. Now that the Pentagon has finished reprogramming funding for the border wall project, the administration will be able to build almost 500 miles of new wall over the next twelve months.

We finally have a President willing to do whatever is necessary to secure the southern border and keep this country safe.

But your colleagues want to stop this border wall construction in its tracks.

This past week, both the House and Senate voted to cancel Trump's border wall emergency and claw back all of this funding.

You should be ashamed of yourself!

There shouldn't be anything controversial about securing the border. For decades, Democrats and Republicans have promised to build a wall along the southern border. Now that Trump is doing it, why on earth would you want to stop it?

The resolutions that passed last week were test votes. The Left is now adding their anti-border wall provision to the next spending package to cancel the border wall construction once and for all.

Their amendment is tucked away in Section 227 of the Department of Homeland Security Appropriations Act. It reads,

"Notwithstanding any other provision of law, no Federal funds may be used for the construction of physical barriers along the southern land border of the United States during fiscal year 2020."

This amendment is so loosely written that it would even ban border fence repairs or renovations.

If you dare vote for this amendment, or sit on your hands and allow it to pass, then you are voting for open borders. There is no way around it...

We have waited decades for this. But now, right as we are about to finally have a secure border, you and your colleagues want to sabotage the project.

You care more about scoring political points against the President than you care about keeping the country safe...

This is despicable. You are playing politics with our national security.

Any Congressman or Senator who votes to pull border wall funding or restrict the construction in any way will be removed from office. No, that is not a threat, it is a promise.
