Congress is launching an impeachment inquiry against Donald Trump? For what?

Now that the White House released the transcript of the President's call with the Ukrainian President, you and I know more about what was said on the call than the whistleblower did when they filed their report. That alone should tell you how ridiculous this all is...

The whistleblower claimed that Trump threatened to withhold foreign aid unless Ukraine agreed to investigate Joe Biden. That was a total lie.

This is what Donald Trump said:

Trump: "There's a lot of talk about Biden's son, that Biden stopped the prosecution and a lot of people want to find out about that, so whatever you can do with the Attorney General would be great. Biden went around bragging that he stopped the prosecution, so if you can look into it... It sounds horrible to me."

And Congress wants to impeach Trump over that!?

I will say it again: Have you lost your mind?

This is absolutely disgusting. Your colleagues launched their impeachment inquiry based off of a lie. Donald Trump didn't pressure Ukraine to interfere in our next election. That was a total lie.

And when Nancy Pelosi realized she had authorized an impeachment investigation on a lie, she claimed that Democrats have "many other, shall we say, candidates for impeachable offenses" if this one doesn't pan out. This whole impeachment push is a sham. They are desperate to find some reason -- any reason -- to impeach the President.

Take a look around. We have a lot of challenges facing this country. You were elected to come up with solutions to the challenges facing American families.

But instead of doing that, your colleagues are marching full speed ahead with their impeachment plans. They hate Trump more than they care about fixing the country's problems...

If you take part in any of this, your career is over. If you dare join this push to impeach the President to undo the 2016 election, nothing will be able to protect you from the American electorate. You will be removed from office.

That is a promise.
