The Pentagon announced yesterday that they have officially authorized $3.6 billion to be diverted from the military construction project to the border wall.

With that, the Trump administration will now be able to spend a total of 8.1 billion on border wall construction during the 2020 fiscal year. And thanks to the Army Corps of Engineers, the project is actually already under budget. The Pentagon also just announced that they will be able to approve an additional 20 miles of border wall.

All together, the Trump administration plans to build 470 miles of new border wall over the next year. Not just vehicle barriers, but real, impenetrable 18-to-30 foot tall border walls.

President Trump will finish more pedestrian border wall over the next year than all other previous Presidents combined...

But many of your colleagues are desperately trying to stop him. They want to keep the border as open as possible, for as long as possible.

Democrats just snuck an amendment into Section 227 of the Department of Homeland Security Appropriations Act that would outlaw border wall construction during the 2020 fiscal year.

"Notwithstanding any other provision of law, no Federal funds may be used for the construction of physical barriers along the southern land border of the United States during fiscal year 2020."

This amendment is so loosely written that it would even ban border fence repairs or renovations.

If you dare vote for this amendment, or sit on your hands and allow it to pass, then you are voting for open borders. There is no way around it...

We have waited decades for this. But now, right as we are about to finally have a secure border, you and your colleagues want to sabotage the project.

The real kicker is that the opposition is all about politics. Just four years ago, Democrats and Republicans agreed that we needed to secure the border. But now that Donald Trump is actually doing it, these same people are vowing to keep the border wide open. All because they are desperate to make Donald Trump lose.

This is despicable. You are playing politics with our national security.

Any Congressman or Senator who votes to pull border wall funding or restrict the construction in any way will be removed from office. That is not a threat, it is a promise.
