The United States is a country of laws. We always have been and we always will be.

Which is why it is so concerning that you are going to let Border Patrol and ICE run out of funding before the end of the fiscal year. Both agencies have warned that they are understaffed and running out of funds. Both serve a vital role in protecting our national security.

But your colleagues don't want to fund border security at all. Not without a "comprehensive" immigration bill attached.

In the Senate, Democrats refused to show up for a hearing on Graham's border bill, blocking it from moving forward. In the House, Pelosi is refusing to allow a vote on a clean Homeland Security Appropriations Act.

These radicals are literally holding our national security hostage to further their own amnesty agendas. They are demanding legalization and a pathway to citizenship for millions of illegal aliens in the country before another cent is given to border enforcement.

Essentially, they are demanding that you choose between amnesty and amnesty. Either ICE and Border Patrol will be forced to cease operations -- release captured illegal aliens and cancel deportation raids -- or the Left's amnesty bill will become law. Those are the only options that the Democrat leadership is giving you...

They swore an oath to protect this country and now they're literally talking about allowing the Department of Homeland Security to run out of funding so that they can get political leverage...

I am watching you. What you do right now will determine whether you have any kind of political future.

You MUST force a vote on a clean Homeland Security Appropriations bill that fully funds border security (and border barriers) without any amnesty strings attached. The United States has a longstanding policy of not negotiating with hostage takers. Just because Democrats are holding our national security hostage doesn't change that policy...

Force a vote and pass a bill to fully fund Border Patrol and ICE or you will be removed from office.
