Yesterday, the Senate passed a fair compromise that gives the Trump administration everything it needs to control the crisis at the Southern Border. $3.5 billion for humanitarian programs designed to process the illegal aliens that have already crossed and almost 1.1 billion to stop more illegal aliens from flooding into the country.

House Democrats, however, are refusing to vote on that bill. They are demanding that their poison pill amendments be re-added to the legislation. I am demanding that you kill each and every one of these poison pills.

You CANNOT put a hard cap on how long children and family units can be detained. If you tell the world that anyone who crosses the border with a child is guaranteed to be released, human and drug traffickers will take advantage of it and the crisis will only get worse.

You CANNOT force the Trump administration to disburse foreign aid to the countries that are helping these illegal alien caravans reach the United States.

You CANNOT block ICE from accessing Health and Human Services databases to help plan deportation raids.

You CANNOT put "guard rails" on Trump Administration and block the President from using this funding to enforce our immigration laws.

And you CANNOT allow your colleagues to use these detention centers as political props for their press conferences and photo ops.

The President and his administration told you what they need to handle the crisis at the Southern Border. You need to give them that funding, with no strings attached, and finally close the asylum loopholes that these illegal aliens are abusing.

Anything less from you would be a total dereliction of duty...
