Peter Strzok is the FBI agent who mishandled the Clinton investigation and illegally launched the Trump-Russia investigation. He symbolizes everything wrong with the FBI and shows what can happen when viciously biased people are given power in government.

Last year, the DOJ Inspector General found that Peter Strzok was biased against President Trump and likely allowed that bias to influence his work on the Clinton investigation and Russia probe. However, the DOJ declined to prosecute him for these crimes.

This month, the Inspector General released another report announcing that one of James Comey's Deputy Assistant Directors -- believed to be Strzok -- was caught illegally leaking to the media in exchange for lavish gifts. Even though the IG had him dead to rights, the DOJ again declined to prosecute him. And every time the walls start closing in on him, other DOJ employees miraculously step in to let him off the hook.

As you know, Attorney General Barr has authorized US Attorney John Durham to investigate all of this, including Strzok's actions in the Clinton email investigation. But now we are learning that a key piece of evidence was just destroyed.

The FBI says that files containing notes of a meeting between Strzok and the Inspector General's office were 'irreparably destroyed.' We know that these notes were supposed to detail how the IG warned Strzok that Hillary Clinton's email server was hacked by a foreign government.

When Strzok appeared on Capitol Hill, he was asked about this warning and said he didn't recall specifics, but that it would have been delegated to someone on his team. We do know, however, that Strzok ignored this warning because he edited James Comey's draft statement to remove the sentence saying that it was "reasonably likely" that Clinton's server was hacked. Now, a smoking gun piece of evidence has been destroyed.

I know that you want to give the DOJ and Inspector General time to conduct their own investigations, but you and I know that as long as the Deep State is involved, they will never allow Strzok to be prosecuted.

Luckily, the DOJ doesn't always have discretion over prosecutions. Federal law dictates that when Congress charges someone with perjury and refers the case to the US Attorney's Office, then the DOJ "shall" investigate and prosecute the case. Not "may"... the law requires that the DOJ act on a Congressional criminal contempt referral.

We know from the transcripts that Peter Strzok lied under oath. He was asked what he meant when he texted Lisa Page that he would "protect the country from that menace." Strzok said that "menace" was not referring to Trump. But when Lisa Page testified, she admitted that Strzok was absolutely talking about taking Trump down.

You have the power, right now, to send a criminal referral to the DOJ that the Deep State would be powerless to stop.

I am demanding that you use this power. Charge Peter Strzok with perjury and refer the case to the US Attorney's Office. You must make sure that this traitor answers for his crimes.
