Gun control advocates are moving forward with a bill to ban so-called "ghost guns." These are firearms that Americans build themselves, either from scratch or parts kits.

The Ghost Guns are Guns Act would not only ban homemade firearms, but it would force gun owners to receive government permission before buying firearm parts to repair or upgrade their guns.

A second bill, the Homeland Security Assessment of Terrorists Use of Ghost Guns Act, would require the Department of Homeland Security to create a report detailing the national security dangers of homemade guns. This report would then be used to push through the complete ban.

I am demanding that you kill both of these bills.

Congress' gun control powers are derived from the Commerce Clause. You have absolutely no right under the Constitution to prohibit Americans from building their own legal firearms for personal use.
