On Wednesday, your colleagues in the House Judiciary Committee did something so radical, even Barack Obama didn't propose it. They passed a package of immigration bills that would give amnesty and a pathway to citizenship to up to 3.5 million illegal aliens.

Two of the bills would also give permanent legal status to hundreds of thousands of migrants with temporary protected status who are refusing to go home years and even decades after natural disasters struck their countries.

This is the biggest amnesty package ever pushed through committee. This version of the Dream Act gives amnesty to five times as many illegal aliens as Obama's 2013 bill, and it even would allow illegal aliens with criminal records to qualify for citizenship...

This is what the United States Congress has become? It is shameful.

For years, you and your colleagues have talked about "comprehensive" immigration reform; trading amnesty  in exchange for stricter immigration enforcement.

But Congressional Democrats aren't interested in that anymore. After pledging to stop President Trump's wall, Nancy 'Not One Dollar' Pelosi is now pushing a clean Dream Act bill: Full amnesty and a pathway to citizenship for millions of illegal aliens, without any other changes to our immigration system.
