Yesterday, Congressional Democrats held their first vote on the Climate Action Now Act. This bill would stop President Trump from withdrawing from the UN's Paris Climate Treaty, restore the $3 billion in funding that Obama promised them, and force the Federal government to adapt the United Nations' environmental regulations.

You must stop this bill from becoming law.

The Constitution of the United States requires that international treaties receive a ratification vote in the United States Senate before becoming enforceable in the country. Unless two-thirds of the Senators agree, then the treaty cannot be ratified. President Obama knew he didn't have the votes, but he signed it anyway and began enforcing it by executive order. He raided the discretionary fund and sent $1 billion to the United Nations before Trump was sworn in and stopped it.

But now that the Trump administration is in the final stages of withdrawing from this treaty, some of your colleagues are desperately trying to stop it.

You need to make sure that the Climate Action Now Act dies right now.

Do not let it pass as a stand alone bill. Do not allow anyone to attach the measure as an amendment to another piece of legislation.

You swore an oath to defend the sovereignty of the United States. The votes are not there to ratify the United Nations' climate treaty. The UN tried to impose their regulations and wealth redistribution scheme on the United States and they failed. It is absolutely despicable that Congressional Democrats would even dare try to pass identical measures through the legislative process.

You need to put America First. Instead of trying to give away more tax dollars to the UN, you should be working on passing the American Sovereignty Restoration Act and cutting the UN's funding all together!

But if you dare surrender our sovereignty to the United Nations' climate agenda -- if you dare restore Obama's signature and start funneling my tax dollars overseas -- I promise that you will get what you deserve.
