Despite the political divide in this country, there is still one thing that Republicans and Democrats agree on: Members of Congress should be term-limited.

I am ordering you to sign onto Ted Cruz and Francis Rooney's term limit resolutions: H.J.Res 20 and S.J.Res 1.

The Founding Fathers designed Congress to be built around service. However, far too many Congressmen and Senators treat Congress as a career. There are members of Congress who have "served" for 20, 30, and even 40+ years.

Last year, John Conyers was forced out of office. Had he not faced sexual assault allegations, he would have sought re-election to a 27th term... This is insane.

We the People send you to Washington to fix the country's problems. If decades pass and the problems remain, then it's time to elect someone else.

These resolutions would limit Congressmen to three terms and Senators to two terms. And to give you a chance to plan your for your future, the clock wouldn't start ticking until the amendments pass. This is fair.

However, the leaders in BOTH parties are doing everything they can to block this. This shouldn't come as that big of a surprise: Pelosi, Schumer, and McConnell have all been in office for over 30 years. The very politicians that get to decide whether this term limit resolution gets a vote are the ones who have profited the most from making a career and fortune out of their "service."

You and I both know that career politicians aren't bringing fresh and new ideas to the table...

Polling shows that more than 80% of Republicans, Democrats, and Independents support imposing term limits on Congress. This is going to happen, one way or another. If you do not support and push for these two resolutions, We the People will use an Article V Convention of the States and remove you from the process entirely.

You know that these are your only two options. If you won't pass these resolutions, you will be removed from the process entirely.
