Senate Republicans are moving forward with a massive gun confiscation bill. Senate Bill 7 would allow local and state police around the country to disarm Americans and suspend their constitutional right to keep and bear arms without even needing to accuse them of committing a crime!

The Founders wrote the 2nd Amendment to the United States Constitution specifically to make sure that none of the three branches of government could ever abolish the God-given right to self-defense.

And yet, your colleagues are trying to do just that!

Americans have a right to keep and bear arms. They also have a right to be presumed innocent until proven guilty.

This bill abolished both of those rights. Not only would judges be allowed to disarm gun owners based on nothing but unproven hearsay, but the burden of proof would be placed on the gun owner to prove that he or she deserves their guns back.

This is insane.

There is no negotiating with gun control advocates. They want the total disarmament of the American people and are more than willing to take a piecemeal approach. You can't meet halfway with people willing to slowly chip away at the 2nd Amendment over years or decades.

If you pass Senate Bill 7, or any other "Red Flag" bill like it, then you will turn the 2nd Amendment right into a privilege that the government can revoke at will.

If you dare do this, winning re-election will be the least of your worries. You WILL be removed from office!
