Support for term limits is boiling over in this country. A recent poll showed that 81 percent of Americans support imposing term limits on Members of Congress.

You have a very simple choice: you can listen to your constituents and pass SJRes 1, or you can step aside and watch as a Convention of the States forces term limits on you and your colleagues.

Senator Cruz's proposal is fair. It limits Congressmen to serving three terms and Senators to serving two terms. Unlike other proposals, Cruz's resolution would NOT apply to any terms you have already served.
