This week, Robert Mueller revealed his hand. This was never about proving collusion. Out of all the indictments filed against Russian intelligence agents, none of them include any allegations that the Russians had witting American co-conspirators.

This week, James Comey was able to battle back his sudden case of memory lapse to make a startling admission under oath. The Clinton-funded dossier was not verified before or after the FISA warrants were issued. Even after the FBI started listening in on Trump campaign phone calls, they found no evidence of collusion.

Mueller's latest filings prove he has abandoned the collusion line. It doesn't even look like he is investigating obstruction anymore. Mueller is going after Trump for campaign finance violations.

In the Soviet Union, Josef Stalin had a saying: 'You show me the man, and I'll show you the crime.' That is precisely what is happening here.

The latest charge levied against the President is that he violated campaign finance laws by failing to report non-disclosure payments made to women during the Presidential campaign. Robert Mueller would charge Trump with jay-walking if he thought it would get him impeached. A campaign finance violation is the political equivalent of jay-walking.

Mueller's sole goal is to ruin as many Trump supporters' lives as possible. The latest target is 72-year-old Jerome Corsi. Corsi didn't do anything illegal. His "crime" is forgetting about an email he forwarded back in 2016. He amended his testimony once he remembered the email chain, but Mueller is trying to charge him with a crime anyway. Leaks are starting to suggest that the Special Counsel's office is preparing to go after President Trump's own children too, all in an attempt to squeeze the President.

This is a man who needs to be reined in. Mueller has gotten out of control. And yet, the legislation before you would give Mueller near-unlimited powers. The Flake-Coons bill would make Mueller more powerful than even the President of the United States.

I am demanding that you block this proposal, whether it is introduced as a stand-alone bill or an amendment to the upcoming spending package. You cannot allow Congress to expand Mueller's power.

If you allow this unconstitutional proposal to reach the floor, you will be removed from office! That I swear...
