For two years, I have watched you and your colleagues promise to protect my rights and liberties, only to run from these promises at the first sign they might hurt your political career.

The Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act and Sportsmen's Heritage and Recreation Enhancement Act must reach President Trump's desk before the end of this Congress.

Both are common sense pro-gun bills that would not only expand the rights of law-abiding Americans, but also preserve the 2nd Amendment for generations to come.

Earlier this year, Congress passed the Fix NICS bill to close loopholes within the FBI's background check system to make sure that only law-abiding citizens can pass the firearm purchaser background checks. It only makes sense that now that the system has been secured, we should expand the rights of people who repeatedly pass these checks.

The Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act would allow anyone who has passed the background check and received a carry permit in a state to use that carry permit to exercise their right to bear arms nationwide. This makes complete sense. The 2nd Amendment doesn't just apply to your home state. HR.38 would ensure that law abiding Americans are able to exercise their rights in all 50 states.

The Sportsmen's Heritage and Recreation Enhancement Act would fix many of the anti-gun and anti-ammunition executive orders of the previous administration. Bans on lead and non-lead ammunition would be overturned, self-defense rights of hunters and sportsmen on Federal lands would be restored, more Federal land would be made available for hunting, fishing, and target shooting, and the 84+ year unconstitutional overregulation of suppressors would be rectified. Instead of having to pay the ATF $200 to be able to apply for a permit to own a suppressor, law-abiding gun owners would be able to pay just $10 to the FBI and have the background check performed at the point-of-sale (instead of having to wait months for the ATF to get around to it).

Both of the times that these bills were scheduled to move forward with a vote, the leadership in the House and Senate pulled the legislation out of fear.

There are no more excuses. The election is over. This is the last chance to protect and preserve the 2nd Amendment before the anti-gun movement gains control of the House.

I am demanding an immediate vote on both of these measures. You and I both know the votes are there. President Trump has even promised to sign both of them. And yet, a handgul of cowards in Congress are blocking the legislation to try to run out the clock. It is shameful.

I am demanding that you force a vote on these measures. Do not allow your anti-gun colleagues to relegate the 2nd Amendment to a 2nd Class right.

If you won't stand for my rights, I refuse to stand in support of your candidacy. Pass these two common sense pro-gun bills before it's too late or I will remove you from office.
