More than 10k caravan migrants have now arrived at the border. When a few hundred scaled the fence yesterday to break into the US, Border Patrol agents were only able to arrest a couple dozen of them.

President Trump has been meeting with Republican leadership all week to demand border wall funding. Leaders in both the House and Senate say it is impossible to secure the border this year. They are telling Trump he will have better luck negotiating with Nancy Pelosi come January.

You must pass a government spending package by December 7th. That includes spending for the Department of Homeland Security. If you do use this spending package tot fully fund the border wall project, there will be hell to pay.

President Trump yesterday announced that he would shut down the government if Congress defunds the border wall project. I need you to understand that if this happens, Conservatives will not blame the President.

Congresses have been promising to secure the border for decades. It is time to honor those promises.
