The Pentagon just shot down President Trump's plan to use the military to shut down the border. Instead of sending "as many troops as it takes," the Pentagon is deploying just 800 soldiers to provide logistical support to Border Patrol agents. They won't be infantry. They will be lawyers, doctors, and engineers and the Pentagon won't even be giving them lethal weapons...

Members of the administration are deliberately trying to pull the rug out from under President Trump. His only recourse now is to shut down all migration across the southern border, using the same statutory authority behind the travel ban.

The President shouldn't have to do this. He shouldn't have to close an entire border just to keep this caravan of illegal aliens out.

It is absolutely shameful that you have left the President with no choice.

We have watched the caravan march through two international borders now and they're marching through Mexico. The courts are demanding that Trump let them in, the Pentagon is only deploying a couple hundred soldiers for logistical support, and meanwhile, you're sitting on your hands refusing to get involved...

These aren't refugees and this isn't a humanitarian crisis. This is a political march. This is an invasion.

If Honduras truly was as dangerous as the caravan claims, then they would have settled in Guatemala or Mexico. But these people aren't fleeing Honduras. They're celebrating their home country. They are waving Honduran flags, singing their national anthems, and screaming anti-Trump chants.

They want nothing more than to take their Honduran flags and plant them on American soil.

Tell me: what is your end game here? What is your plan to stop the caravan marching on the US border. Not only are you refusing to do anything about it, but you are actively blocking the President from taking action on his own. This is unacceptable.

If this caravan enters the United States, your political career is over. I just want to make sure you fully understand this. If you do not do everything in your power to stop this caravan from getting into the country, you will be removed from office. You swore an oath to protect this country and her people. If you refuse to do anything to stop this caravan, then you will have violated this oath.

You need to give the President the tools to fully secure the border right now! Pass real border security now, or else the next time your name appears on the ballot, it will be your last...
